About Roger and Linda PepinThank you for for your interest in getting to know us. My name is Linda Pepin. I'm the webmaster and writer of this Help for Non Profit website. My husband's name is Roger. We are "young at heart" seniors ready to embark on a whole new life! This website was established to share our journey with you.
We will not plunge into starting our NPO without careful study and systematic planning. We will be doing a lot of research into the best ways and means to accomplish our goal and share it all with you. Our Vision
God has given us a desire to start a non profit organization that will reach out and meet the needs of young people all across Canada. Our vision is to start a four season "Vacation" Bible Camp where children from all over Canada can come and celebrate all the many special holidays throughout the year. We want to provide a place where children can leave the world behind with all it's stress and pressure and experience a carefree time at our camp where there won't be computers, television, cell phones, or ipods to steal away their attention. We want to help kids find enjoyment in the simple things in life. Our goal is to have horse back riding, a petting farm, and a small lake where the kids can paddle boat and fish. We'll have hayrides, bon fires and "sing a longs". We'll have a club house for Bible story time, games, and skits. We'll introduce the children to the love of God and Jesus Christ as their Personal Saviour. We want them to have something to look forward to year after year. We want to create memories for these children that they can pass down to their own children and grandchildren for years to come. We hope that you will visit our site often and follow our progress. We also wanted to provide a place on our website where other "fledgling" non profit organizations can share their journey with our website visitors. Website Hosting with Site Build It We are building our HelpforNonProfit website with SBI (Site Build It). If you do not have a NPO website yet, we highly recommend SBI. Roger and I didn't know anything about building a website until we were introduced to SBI. Site Build Its "step by step" written and video tutorials were invaluable tools to get us up and running in no time at all and the support we get from fellow webmasters in the SBI forum is worth it's weight in gold. Once we have established our Non Profit Vacation Bible School, we will most definitely be building a website about it with SBI.
