About Lavaughn Scott

I chose this particular non-profit organization because many of my friends suffer from chronic lung disease. I would like to see them live a healthier lifestyle.

I am hoping to see many more success stories in the Health and Wellness Industry. I am eternally grateful to the American Lung Association for their continued support and education to the millions of Americans who fight Lung disease.

I have a background in the Medical Industry dealing with critical life support issues for individuals. My job offers the satisfaction that comes with knowing that I have made a positive effect in another person's life and I have learned that bad lifestyle habits and lack of education can sometimes lead to many negative situations later in life.

For that reason, I am in total support of the ALA for their unswerving efforts towards educating folks all across the country on the huge benefits of not smoking and learning more about how they can protect their lungs from environmental assaults.

What you consume is the key to either positive or negative health. The problem is that so many people, once they start smoking, are hooked on the nicotine and its related products. This results in quite a challenge when attempting to kick the addiction that can ensue.

The American Lung Association can help with a change that is simple and will offer long term health that is positive for millions of Americans with lung ailments, and their families.
